Dear fellow boss girl small business owner
I see you have found me online.
That’s awesome! That’s what I attempt (amongst many other things) to do for a living.
Giving boss girl small businesses a hand in getting found online by being their “weird” selves.
My name is I-Ping Yeo and I am the boss girl at DigitalLifestyleLounge.com.
At Digital Lifestyle Lounge, it is my mission to help you maintain your sweet soul by summoning your Boss Girl Glow.
I do this by conjuring free and premium pretty printables for passionate digital entrepreneur boss girls who run exciting eclair sweet e-commerce small businesses.
My boss girl pretty printables contain training, tutorials, templates and tools designed to help boss girls run their small businesses more deftly in the digital age whilst maintaining a happy, healthy and minimal stress work-life balance. I cover many topics but mainly on stuff that hopefully will make us successful boss girls with mindful spirits.
I hope to help boss girl small business owners summon their boss girl glow, harness the powers of digital marketing to get found online and to connect and reach more customers successfully and meaningfully by just being their “weird” selves, otherwise whatever makes them unique and tick.
I do this by studying what other more successful boss girls are doing and reporting back to you. By doing this, I hope to help boss girls who want to differentiate themselves from their competitors with their unique stories and find their persuasive voices for generating more conversions, sales and leads online. This is not altruistic because I am interested in using what I have learnt and research on my own boss girl business to generate more conversions, sales and leads and I find that by writing down my ideas and sharing them on this site, I learn faster and am more motivated to act on the ideas asap so as to stay accountable to my readers on this website who want to hear from me.
I am truly blessed to be doing what I love having a late start in 2011 but hey it’s never too late to start doing something you truly love and believe in, however cliché this may sound.
Prior to 2011, I was a lawyer for 7 years after getting my LLB in United Kingdom.
I left the profession due to a personal transition in life which left me in a very enviable and fun position as an unemployed for 2 years as I explored my interests and dabbled in many hobbies.
In 2011, I started blogging and learning about digital marketing. As a result of my diligent learning, I started a web design firm building websites for business owners. In the process, I learnt about web design, web development, search engine optimization, social media marketing, video marketing, content creation, content production, copywriting and plenty more vital skills in digital marketing.
More importantly, I learnt about focus, planning and productivity, which I think have helped me keep things as lean and mean as I can at Digital Lifestyle Lounge.
And most importantly, I have learnt to eat humble pie, be extremely thick-skinned to failures and gossip behind my back (mostly generated by my own delusional brain fog) and stay true to my reason to be. In my opinion, one’s reason to be is the founding block of a successful boss girl business and the atom (or molecule or whatever you call it) for success. Do not ever let anyone sway you from your purpose.
Through 8 terribly long years of soul-searching, hair pulling and paper crunching, I decided I have found my purpose or ikigai, which is a Japanese concept for “a reason for being” or “a reason to be”.
Paper is my true love and my reason to be. I love the touch of crisp paper, the sound of paper flipping and the irresistible glow of a piece of pretty paper. I have been in love with books from a young age and no not classics but I am an unabashed fan of thrillers, mysteries and horror. I also can’t stop buying kitsch, kawaii and kooky printables, paper, notebooks, journals and planners. I am also a disgusting hoarder of digital paper, digital designs, digital training, tutorials, templates and tools relating to the topics of digital marketing and self-help.
Digital Lifestyle Lounge was founded to fulfil my self-imposed destiny as a pretty paper producer and paper provider and also to help you fulfil your ikigai as a successful boss girl.
May we thrive and prosper as boss girls through being our “weird” selves (whatever makes us unique and tick)…
I-Ping Yeo 😆
