- What are the main things that are causing your anxiety?
- What are your biggest fears?
- What are the physical symptoms you experience when you are anxious?
- What are the thoughts that go through your head when you are feeling anxious?
- How does anxiety make you feel emotionally?
- What situations tend to trigger your anxiety?
- How do you typically react when you are feeling anxious?
- What are some things that help calm you down when you are feeling anxious?
Answering these questions can help you gain a better understanding of your anxiety and start to develop a plan for dealing with it. Try picking one or two of these prompts each time you journal and really dive deep into your answers. The more you can understand your anxiety, the better equipped you’ll be to start managing it.
