Go For a Run
Running, jogging, and brisk walking is an excellent way to boost your mood. This is because regularly exercising helps release dopamine—a neurotransmitter that produces feelings of happiness and excitement.
That’s why we feel energized and happy after a good workout. Start slowly. Start by taking a 15 minute walk early in the morning. 6 AM is a perfect time because the cold early morning breeze will help relax your body’s muscles. It’s also the perfect time for meditation because you’ll get fresh air.
Start with Something Positive
Start your day with something that makes you smile. It can be anything—cute cat or dog videos on YouTube, browsing Reddit for memes, watching a short keynote presentation, etc.
You can even watch your favorite celebrities or snippets of your favorite scenes from your favorite TV shows.
Starting your day with something positive will put you in a good mood.
Don’t Skip Breakfast
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If you’re one of the people who skip breakfast, think again. It’s better to have something light than to skip meals altogether.
Not eating properly will affect your mind. Your brain needs energy to be able to function. If you’re not a breakfast person, instead have milk or something light like cereal.
