Work From Home Journal PDF For Wow Work
If you are a work-from-home warrior, then I recommend keeping a work-from-home journal, such as my Work From Home Journal PDF for Wow Work.
Regardless of whether you are a seasoned work from home entrepreneur, someone running a home-based operation, or relatively new to the work from home culture due to unforeseen circumstances, it is always good to keep a journal in which you can keep track of your thoughts from work, brilliant career ideas, and even vent your frustrations.
You can also use your journal to help you strategize and plan your career or use it to doodle some silly art for relaxation, in addition to using it for self-reflection.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, a lot of us have ended up working from home starting last year. Although some of us may have already returned to our actual physical offices, working from home has become the default for many of us.
Apart from these home warriors unexpectedly thrown into these circumstances, there are also many work-from-home mommies and daddies whose nature of work has allowed them to work from home, pandemic or not.
One question that I always get is, “what on earth do I do at home, and do I actually work.” I find that question rather offensive, to be honest. People seem to think that you are sleeping or watching TV most of the time if you work from home.
Quite contrary to that, many people end up working more from home as you are not quite sure when your workday starts and ends and your confusion leads you to work more. After all, your workstation is within easy reach, and you only need that quick 5 minutes to reply to that pesky email.
Often, I have to consciously pull myself away from my home office and get a more balanced work-life balance. Although having said that, I do enjoy my work, and due to my passion for that, I don’t mind working as working is playing for me.

1. Save Costs And Cut Down On Physical Bulky Journals
So, why do I recommend using a Work From Home Journal in PDF format? I always recommend using a printable journal because it helps you save costs and space on your shelves for keeping those bulky physical journals you do not use.
With a printable PDF journal, you can use it repeatedly by printing out only the journal pages you need. Also, you can print it in a smaller size if you do not want to keep a letter-sized journal. Print 2 pages on one sheet of paper, and make a half letter-sized journal instead.
2. Release Your Pent-Up Work Frustrations
You may think that journaling about work is the last thing you want to do after a hard day’s work. However, you may be surprised to find that when you start journaling about work, you will find yourself releasing your pent-up work frustrations more efficiently and end up enjoying your work more as you now have a private outlet to dump your emotions.
3. Use Your Journal To Help You Establish Passion For Your Work And Stay Motivated
If you don’t enjoy your work due to an annoying colleague, try your best to find three reasons you can love your work. Perhaps you love the salary you draw, which helps pay the rent and send your little ones to school. Or it could be that few sweet colleagues who always have your back. It could also be that sometimes, despite your work’s busyness, you do enjoy the nature of your work. Try your best to find these three reasons which keep you returning to your work with love, and you will have a much easier time working.
If you find it challenging to stay motivated working from home, try journaling in my Work From Home Journal and keep at it. Indeed, there are plenty of distractions at work to keep you from working, whether it be the screaming baby, TV, the comfortable bed waiting for you to enter your dreamscape, your hobby kits, and the list goes on. It can be tricky staying focused working at home when there’s no one watching your back.
A work from the home journal can help you organize your work thoughts and keep track of work frustrations that keep you from doing your optimum work. Keeping a journal can help you stay motivated in your career because it acts as your Aunt Agony when you have no one else to turn to.
You may find yourself falling in love with your job once you start journaling honestly about your career in your journal.
Here are some tips on how to use your Work From Home Journal PDF:
1. Write In Any Style And Tone You Wish
Many people fear writing in a journal because they think that you need to write well to find success journaling. However, there is no need to write in a polished author style, specific tone, or essay style.
Since this is your private journal, it is up to you however you wish to use it. You set the pace for writing and the style for writing.
The most important thing about journaling is to allow yourself to free your thoughts and dump your thoughts onto paper to release those feelings of frustration that you may have.
The purpose of a work from the home journal is to allow you to strategize your career, jot down your daily thoughts and feelings regarding work, scribble down your work challenges, and anything work-related. Use it as freely as your imagination allows you.
2. Write Anytime You Wish
You don’t have to journal at the same time every day, although this is an excellent way to help you form a journaling habit. You can journal in the morning when you first wake up or journal at night before you sleep.
There are no hard and fast rules to this. But I recommend that you always set aside some time for journaling at the same time each day, if possible so that you can stick with your journaling habit.
3. What Do You Write In Your Journal?
You can use your journal to whine about the loneliness of working from home, gossip about that annoying colleague who’s always trying to backstab you, chart your career path, and the list goes on.
There’s no need to be all businesslike and formal in your journal by detailing your work life in detail, such as what time you sent your emails, what you need to do, etc.
Keep things light and fun so that you always want to go back to writing in your journal. In fact, you can use your journal to write down about your fantasy work life! The idea is to keep journaling fun so that it acts as a mode of stress relief for you.
4. Use Your Journal For Your To-Do Lists
Use the spare blank pages in your journal as a space for your to-do lists. When you write down the things that you need to attend to, you free up space and stress in your mind for keeping all these mental to-do lists. And it feels great to check off each item one by one as you attend to them. Accomplishments, however small, can keep you motivated in your work.
If you think that your to-do list is too long, go through it again and strike off those non-essential things that you don’t have to do or don’t have to attend to immediately. Shift them to a lower priority to-do list so that you can attend to the more important things first. By attending to the more important things first, you can prevent yourself from getting stressed by finishing urgent items prior to their looming deadlines.
By prioritizing your tasks, you free up some space for a bit of ME time during your workday where you can take fifteen minutes to deeply relax by sipping a cup of good tea very slowly, reading a great book, or even taking a power nap.
5. A Journal Can Keep You Motivated And Prevent Procrastination
As you journal in your Work From Home Journal, you will find yourself becoming more motivated to work well. As such, you will procrastinate less on things that you find annoying to do because you now know that there’s a pot of gold waiting for you at the end of the rainbow regarding your career. A journal can keep you motivated about your work and stay organized about your work obligations.
6. Use Your Work From Home Journal PDF To Stay Grateful To Your Colleagues
Often, we get annoyed by certain people at work and can only think hateful thoughts about them. However, use your journal to think of the good stuff about these people and jot them down. Use your journal to stay grateful to the people you meet in your work, and you will find that gratitude will keep you going and motivated in your career. When you stay thankful for the things you have in your life, it is much easier to stay focused and keep going.
The fact is that most of us work for a living and to survive. Since work is such an integral and unavoidable path in our lives, why not get serious about it, and fall in love with it?
I hope you find new joys and loves in your work when you journal in my Work From Home Career Journal. All the best!
