Live Journaling Session 6 – What Achievements Do I Want To Go After In The New Year, Which Will Fill My Heart With Joy And Love?
In today’s live journaling session, I will again be journaling for 15 minutes in my online
So far, I am enjoying myself journaling in this method. If you haven’t been following this series of journaling experiments, start from here.
For today, I will be sharing with you what achievements I want to go after in this new year, which will fill my heart with joy and love.
I will group my achievements into the following 3 categories.
- Family and Friends
- Myself
- Small business
1. Family and Friends
For me, the most important things in life are my family and friends. So, I will focus on spending more quality time with them this year.
i) I will consciously set aside time for them, and will not be distracted by other tasks when I am with them.
ii) I will not allow myself to get distracted by the phone or work whilst I am enjoying quality time with my family and friends.
iii) I need to stop checking my phone so frequently.
2. Me Time
I will also set aside quality time for myself. During my quality time sessions with myself, I will not reach for my phone and do mindless surfing. That can wait. I will not allow myself to be distracted by other people, they can wait.
i) Instead, I will read and allow myself to escape into the wonderful world of fiction or non-fiction that I am perusing.
ii) I will also listen to my audiobooks and allow myself to thoroughly enjoy the stories that are recounted to me.
iii) I will listen to guided meditation sessions for some stress relief.
3. Small Business
This year, I need to focus on making my small business profitable so that I can continue to be a stay at home mum with my primary focus and priority on my kid.
i) I need to streamline my small business further by cutting down on frivolous costs, and committing myself to building more streams of income into my small business.
ii) I need to find more members for my Joyful Journaling Therapy Club because I genuinely believe in the quality and value of this membership. Rather than view gaining new members as part of my profit-building campaign, I will view it as reaching out to more ladies I can share my joy from journaling with.
iii) I need to write daily and better for my website and create more content, which will address your queries on journaling and staying positive by journaling.
Self-Reflection On Today’s Live Journaling Session
Today’s journaling session was very useful in helping me set out my big-picture goals for the new year, which will fill my heart with joy.
I am excited to face this year with courage.
